PRAYER

At JOY FM, we are passionate about praying for the needs of our listening family. Prayer is an important part of "Helping You Live the Life." This is why we want to partner with you in prayer. We encouarge you to submit your own prayer requests or pray for the current prayer requests of other listeners. Galatians 6:2 states, "Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ." It gives us great JOY and we are continually amazed at how God answers prayers!

Becky and Brenda

Becky, has a brain tumor, again, has had a stroke, has 2 daughter's ages 18 & 16. Pray for strength and comfort, and if God wills, recovery. Brenda, has had a stroke, 80% chance of another, had to quit work, no insurance. Pray for recovery, strength and comfort, in God's will.

Sally

Please pray for my Mom. Tests showed she has a tumor in her intestine and abnomalities on her liver. More tests are being done. The doctors believe it is cancer.

Me and my family

Please pray for me, my family and my marriage. My husband and I have been married 7 years and I have not had steady jobs throughout our marriage causing us to struggle alot at times. I don't know why this keeps happening, and I'm very sorry and have alot of guilt about it. My husband recently got pushed over the edge, so to say and actually moved out for about a month. He is moved back home at this time, but we have a 3 year old and all this is very hard for him. I have faith God can do anything, so please pray God will give him more faith so we can make it through this very difficult time.

Mellisa

Please pray for my girlfriend and her family, they are going through a divorce and its getting worse and its tearing the family apart. My girlfriend, Mellisa is beyond stressed out. She has been going to church with me for 2 months now and is talking about getting baptised but since all this is going on, she is going back to her old ways with drinking and partying and I am scared for her that she will fall away.

My Husband and I

Please keep my husband and I in prayer, we are newlyweds and still are not doing well with adjusting as other issues have since arisen and he is still determined to get out. Pray that God will break strongholds in both our lifes and what needs to come to light will come to light and change will happen soon and out marriage will be mended and healed. Thank you!

Griffin's Family

Pray for the family of the little girl killed in the atv accident in Hillsboro. Griffin was only 5. She was riding with her big sister when the sister lost control and hit a tree. Griffin was killed and her sister is in the hospital with injuries. Pray for the family for healing for all of them! I know the weeks ahead are going to be harder than I could ever imagine. I just want to let them know they are in my thoughts and prayers. But may they find peace knowing that Griffin is now dancing with the angels!

A Teenager

I have come to find as school has started that this year has brought more struggles for me. I know what is right and moral, and then I have struggles for what I want. It's got nothing to do with hanging with the wrong crowd, that is conveniently easy for me to avoid. I have inner struggles with God. I want to please him and as the new year is starting again, I find how easy it is to fall into the routine of not following all His commands. things that i should watch out for i so openly invite. Pray I have the strength to stand up to every day struggles, and instead of putting myself first in school...or my friends first (even my work) pray that I put God first....no matter how hard.

David

My nephew is having problems with his kidneys and bladder. They are running tests to find out if he might have a tumor or some neurolgical problem. Please pray for all involved

Jake

Please pray for Jake. She is an 18 year old young woman who fell off a cliff in Augusta while taking photographs and has serious head injuries. She is currently in ICU. Please pray for her complete recovery. Thank you.

Braden and Myself

Please pray for my son, who has behavor problems. That God does his great work on him. And that I have more patience.

Cheryl

I am 44 years old and will be attending college full time in two weeks. Please pray that I will be able to accomplish my goals. I want to work with autistic children as an Occupational Thearapist. It's a little scary going back to school at my age. God Bless everyone.
