I have felt a million miles away from God before. I’ve looked at someone’s life and thought, “It would take a miracle for God to reach them.” But neither are true.
“Come near to God and He will come near to you.” James 4:8
The truth is, God is. Close. He is always a prayer away. He doesn’t drift away. Push you away. Turn away. The moment you realize you need Him, He is there. Always. And when you desire more of Him, He avails more of Himself to you. That seems too good to be true. But that’s who He is. So, if in this very moment, it feels like God is distant, take Him at His word. Call out to Him. I pray that His presence will be palpable and peace giving to you today. He is near. – Sandi
