Has God ever asked you to do something that seemed too big? Too costly? Required too much faith? Me too. God is always working and when He invites us to join Him…it can be scary! What if it doesn’t work out?
“There was food every day…for the jar of flour and the jug of oil did not run dry…” 1 Kings 17:16
I love the story. God told Elijah to ask a widow for food. She didn’t have enough to share. But she trusted God and used her remaining flour and oil to make bread. The next time she went to make bread, there was still flour and oil. And the next time. It didn’t run out. God provided. What a reminder for us. You may feel like you’re running on “empty.” But your trust in the ultimate provider is well placed. He is forever faithful. – Sandi
