Sometimes I approach God with a “What have you done for me lately” attitude. I forget the magnitude of His love and forgiveness at work in my life.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful… and will forgive us.. and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
What a reminder. I can stand free and pure before a Holy God because of this promise and His sacrifice. There is no greater need in our lives. And no greater gift from God. My entitled heart needs to focus more on my need for Him and His love for me. Thank you, Father, for forgiveness. – Sandi
