Disappointed with God. Let’s be honest. We’ve all felt it. It sounds really “icky” to say out loud, but its true… we get disappointed or a little bent out of shape because he didn’t quite meet our expectations. Or is it just me?
“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundations? Surely you know!….Have you ever entered the storehouses of snow or hail?…Do you send the lightning bolts on their way?” Job 38
That’s how God dealt with Job’s disappointment/pride. Questions that we need to ponder the next time we’re tempted to question God. He is God. We are not. We will never be able to comprehend his “ways” or his “whys.” But just because we can’t understand him doesn’t mean we can’t trust Him. We can! He’s God. And our lives are in His quite capable hands.
