Fear. This four-letter word brings so much havoc into our lives! We worry. We play out “what if” scenarios in our mind and let every ounce of peace ooze out of our hearts and thoughts.
“The Lord is my light and salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
I want this verse to rattle around in my brain more than the worries. If you can’t memorize all of it, how about just, “The Lord IS…..” That’s a game changer. Wherever you are, The Lord IS. Whenever you call out to Him, The Lord IS. You may be fearful or worried, but The Lord IS……your light, salvation and He’s holding firmly on to you. So what do we have to be afraid of? Nothing.
