I’m learning that there’s a difference between having peace with God and having the peace of God.
“My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him…He is my fortress; I will never be shaken.” Psalm 62
Maybe you’re like me. You found peace with God when you surrendered your life to him. He is your Savior. And you know it. You have peace with God. But on any given day, your heart and mind are unsettled. Restless. This verse reminds my heart that peace is available for today, not only for eternity. He settles your mind. Assures you that He’s holding on to you. Knowing that you will never be shaken. That He is rock solid. That is the peace of God. And I pray your soul embraces it today. – Sandi
