How do you talk to yourself? I say some things to myself that I would never say to you because they’re not kind. God convicted me about this a few months ago. It isn’t ok to be harsh or shaming toward yourself. Why? Because that voice/message is from the enemy, not from God.
“You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I am fearfully and wonderfully made….All the days ordained for me…before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139: 13-16.
That is the truth. You are God’s handmade design. Your inside and your outside….all knit together by God. The same is true for every day of your life. He is the author of every day of your story. So silence any voice that tells you that you are insignificant, “less than” or unworthy of love. You were created. You are loved. And your still-to-be-finished story is known. – Sandi
