How is your soul today? Do you know? If you’re like me, you tend to value “running” more than “rest.” But that isn’t good for our souls.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
If you know what weary feels like. And if your load and heart feel heavy today, what can you do to find rest? This scripture says there’s something we can do and something only He can do.
We can pause from the running and turn our intentional focus on Him. Take a breath in His presence. When we do, He meets us. He tends to our soul. That is rest. Time with Him. May our souls be at rest today. – Sandi
