If I’m being honest, there have been times in my life when I settled for hanging around Jesus more than getting to know who He really is.
I see myself in this story:
“A large crowd pressed around to see Jesus. A woman with a bleeding condition reached out to touch him.” Mark 5:24-29
The crowd was there to see a spectacle. The woman was there to experience Jesus. I’ve been in both camps. Sometimes I merely go through the motions or settle for watching what Jesus is doing in other people’s lives. And other times, I want to press in and experience Him for myself.
Wherever you are, Jesus is close. What will you do? Watch? Or take a step of faith? – Sandi
