I have never heard God’s voice audibly. But I have recognized His voice at times. He knows how to reveal Himself in a way that we can recognize and understand.
“He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out…and His sheep follow Him because they know His voice.” John 10:3-4
I don’t always get it right. Knowing the difference between God’s voice and my own. But I have noticed the more time I spend in the Bible and in prayer, the clearer His voice becomes. He has a way of confirming to our hearts that He is speaking.
There are a lot of reasons why we struggle to hear His voice. Busyness. Distractions. But let’s take God at His Word and ask Him to speak to us today. – Sandi
