Have you ever read scripture and felt like you were on the “outside looking in?” Like the promise is for everyone else but you? I have too.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
I don’t always look or act like a new creation. Some bad habits and thoughts continue to creep in. We all need this reminder: God is still in the process of creating and recreating you. While we may want His work to be completed instantly, He took 6 days to create the world. And He looked at His incomplete creation on days 1-5 and said it was good.
It reassures me that He is working on His own timeline and it is good. As a child of God, He isn’t finished with you. Hold on to the promise that He is making you new! – Sandi
