There are a zillion things about God and this world that I don’t understand. But I am so thankful that God made this one thing simple and clear:
“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
It isn’t easy to follow Jesus, because it requires faith. But it is simple to know that you are saved by His grace. When you acknowledge that He is Lord of everything and you believe God’s love story including Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection, then you have found new life.
If you wrestle with doubt about who God is or your standing before Him, start with this scripture. Start with a simple pray acknowledging Him as King of your life. Ask Him to reveal himself to you. Take Him at His word. And receive the peace that comes from knowing you are forgiven and free.- Sandi
