God Is With You

God Is With You

On days like today, I ponder what Mary felt. Not the labor part. I kinda know what that feels like. But the wonder. The faith. The seeing, but not yet fully understanding.

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel- which means, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23

When Mary held her baby, God was literally with her. But it took faith for her to believe it. It took years before He spoke or healed. What did she think as she waited? Perhaps some of the same thoughts, questions and doubts that we have. If you are in a season of waiting or questioning, remember that God is with you.  His presence doesn’t erase the fear or doubt. But it is comforting and reassuring to know that we’re not alone.  May His presence bring you much peace and joy today. – Sandi
