Is God inviting you to go deeper? Just when I feel comfy in my relationship with Him, He tends to invite me into something that is outside of my comfort zone. Why?
“When He had finished speaking, He said, “Put out into the deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Luke 5:4
After Jesus taught them, He invited them to go deeper. Not just “know” His teachings, but follow His lead, even when it doesn’t make sense. Jesus wanted them to surrender. To follow. To trust, even when it was outside of their comfort zone or knowledge. When they did what Jesus asked, they saw God do what only He can do…their nets were overflowing with fish.
God may be inviting you to go deeper today. You can trust Him. Whether it makes sense or not. Step out. Follow His lead. He is in the deep. – Sandi
