Every word out of their mouth is refreshing to my soul. Do you have friends like that? I do. Their words reflect the truth of scripture and the heart of God. And it is so life-giving to me.
“The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart…For out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.” Luke 6:45
The only way to have good, life-giving words coming out, is if God’s Word is going in. Our words and actions are an overflow of the condition of our hearts. None of us get it right all the time. But the more that God and His Word are active in our hearts, the more good we can share with others. And this world needs more good! May the love of God and the truth of His Word be soaked in today and squeezed out on everyone we meet. – Sandi
