“How do you know that Jesus is real?” I was asked that question last week during a recorded interview. After a moment of realizing the weight of the question, I said the first thing that came to mind: “I know that Jesus is real because I met Him when I was 17. I cried out to Him, and He changed my heart and my life. I am not who I was before I met Him.”
“O Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me…weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:2,5
Jesus isn’t merely a storybook character. He is alive. And He makes himself available to us. If you don’t yet know Jesus, call out to Him. Ask Him to reveal himself to you. He will. Again and again. If you already know Him but are in a difficult season, don’t lose hope. He is close and He will restore. – Sandi
