What does God use in your life to make you more like Jesus? Everything. Especially the “stuff” that reveals our constant need for Him.
“He must become greater; I must become less.” John 3:30
In theory, that sounds great. I want to be more like Jesus. But on any given day, I also find it difficult to let go of my own way. Surrendering to Jesus comes with a price. Becoming more like Him doesn’t just happen with time. When His presence and Word increase in our life, our thoughts and actions will be more like Jesus. More of you, God, and less of me. May that not only be our prayer, but our surrendered life aim.
