Have you ever felt this way? You know that God loves you. But you feel like He doesn’t care about the struggle you’re facing? If you have, you’re not alone. Literally.
Jesus was asleep in a boat, in a storm. The disciples were afraid and woke Jesus. They said, “Don’t you care if we drown?” (Mark 4:38) Then Jesus told the waves to be quiet and the wind became calm.
They knew that Jesus loved them. But because of the size of the waves, they thought that Jesus didn’t care about them.
If you are fearful today because of the storm you’re in, remember that Jesus is close. He’s in the boat with you. And you can ask Him to calm the waves and your troubled heart. The wind and the waves still obey Him. So, you can trust that He not only loves you, but He cares about you, especially through the storms. – Sandi
