God hears you when you cry. Pain can sometimes convince us that we are alone, and that God doesn’t care. Neither are true.
“I have heard them crying out…and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them…” Exodus 3:7-8
There is something powerful in realizing that we are not only seen by God, but also heard. He leans into our cries. He is affected by our pain. He cares. He listens. And He responds. It may not be as quickly as we want or in the way that we think is best, but He always has a rescue plan.
Your season of suffering may not end in an instant, but your hope in Jesus is well placed. So are your cries and tears that are poured out to Him. He is close and His heart is for you. – Sandi
