I lost my wallet last week. Searching. Panic. Disappointment. More searching. Calling banks, stores, and credit card companies. Then a sinking feeling I can only describe as, “gross.” After a few days, peace began to settle in, and I found these challenging words:
“…It is time to seek the Lord, until He comes, and showers righteousness on you.” Hosea 10:12
It was a gentle nudge from God to my heart. I need to seek the Lord with the same zeal and anticipation that I had looking for my wallet. A sense of desperate need. A longing to find. An understanding of the importance and value of the treasure.
It is time. For our hearts to desire the Lord. To seek His presence. To long for more of Him.
And the good news is, He is close and “findable.” – Sandi
