If you are a people pleaser, you are my kind of people! I can totally relate. How much of what we do/say is influenced by other people and their approval? I want people to like me…and sometimes that is a stumbling block.
“…They loved praise from men more than praise from God.” John 12: 43.
There were leaders who believed in Jesus but feared what others would say about it. So, they kept silent. They were more concerned about the approval of man than from God.
As difficult as it may be, we are called to live for an audience of One. His approval is all that matters. May we not seek approval or applause from anyone other than the King. – Sandi
