I don’t know why, but I can still remember some songs from when I was in Jr. High and High School. I won’t sing them for 2 reasons: I can’t sing. And I’m embarrassed by some of the lyrics! ☺
“He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and put their trust in the Lord.” Psalm 40:3
Aren’t you glad that you’re not “singing the same old song!” God changes our hearts. He changes our desires. He calls us to new life and to new songs!
The “new” you is on display. Your life is a tool that God can use to “prove” that His love is real and life-changing. So, sing your new song. And trust that as others “listen and see” they will trust the Lord as well. – Sandi
