I have 2 sons. They’re not little anymore but they love to wrestle with each other and with their dad. I just shake my head. They insist that they’re “bonding.” All I know is…..my daughter and I have a great relationship….but we’ve never wrestled around on the floor! It must be a “guy” thing.
It may even be a “good thing” to wrestle. Remember Jacob when he wrestled all night with God?
“I will not let you go unless you bless me.” Genesis 32:26 That was Jacob’s vantage point during the wrestling. Here was God’s:
“…You have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.” Genesis 32:28
If you’re struggling or wrestling today….even with God. Don’t let go. He honors your wrestling and struggling with the hard stuff….with Him. He won’t let go of you. So, you hang on too. There’s no better place to wrestle than in His presence. I believe you’ll overcome! – Sandi
