I love “to do” lists. If you do too, then here is a lofty but important one for us today:
“What does the Lord require of you? Seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
There is so much packed in there! There’s boldness and humility. There’s a focus on God and a heart for people. There’s rock solid and a tenderness of heart. Apart from God’s love working in us, we can’t live this kind of life. But with His love flowing through us, we can follow His lead in these ways. And when we do, we’re not only in step with Him, we’re also pointing a hurting world to Him as well. And that’s why it’s so important to God’s heart. May we be seeking, loving and humble today! – Sandi
