Do you love someone who doesn’t yet love God? You are not alone. God gave Hannah a son, Samuel. She prayed for him before he was even born and dedicated him to the Lord.
Three times, God called out to Samuel in the middle of the night. But Samuel didn’t recognize God’s voice.
“Samuel did not yet know the Lord.” 1 Samuel 3:7
God pursued Samuel. Calling him by name. When God speaks…even to the unbeliever, it gets their attention. Samuel became a follower and prophet of God.
God hears your prayers. And He loves the lost even more than we do. So, keep praying. Trust that God will pursue, speak, and reveal Himself in the way and timing He chooses. Samuel had a praying mom and a faithful God! That’s a powerful combination!
