Sometimes, there are no words. The pain is too great. The doubts are too many. The prayers seem to go nowhere. That’s what it feels like. But here is another vantage point.
“The Spirit helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for…but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings…He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans 8:26-27
When we are in our weakest moments, the Holy Spirit speaks to God on our behalf. When we have no words, the Spirit groans with us and for us to the Father. For comfort. For peace. For direction. For God’s perfect will to be done and to tend to our hearts in the waiting.
God hasn’t abandoned you. Or forgotten about you. It isn’t possible. Your pain reaches God’s ears and heart. Whether there are words or not. – Sandi
