The lie is that God is distant and impossible to please. The truth is that He is close and unwavering in his immense love for you.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? … I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God…” Romans 8:35,37-39
It is true that, at times, we feel like God is unreachable. And it is true that the enemy of our souls tries to distract us from God’s love. But there is absolutely nothing that can disqualify you or detach you from God’s unfailing love.
It was evident in the garden, even when there was sin. It was displayed on the cross, even when it was costly. And God’s love is pursuing you with every breath that you take. So, open your heart and mind to receive His ever present love. – Sandi
