Tough words to swallow. A difficult path to walk. A different kind of love that can change the world.
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:20-21
It doesn’t seem fair. To respond with love when someone is unlovable. My mind is already thinking of exceptions and excuses. But what if, instead, we ponder some practical ways that we can love like Jesus today? One unexpected, kind word. An offense forgiven. An act of kindness when it isn’t deserved.
When you choose good, you are an overcomer. You share the undeserved love and grace you’ve received. And that is the only way that this world will see the good, loving heart of our Father. – Sandi
