Anxiety is real. But so is the peace of God.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
God invites you to bring every anxious thought to Him. When anxiety starts to win the battle in your mind and heart, pause and pray. Thank God for His presence and authority in your life. Ask Him to carry you. To be your strength. To carry the anxious thoughts so you don’t have to. That is what He asks you to do. What He promises to do is give you peace. And to protect your mind and heart through the storm.
Your situation may not change yet. Anxiety may still come. But the peace of God can be your anchor. And your protection. – Sandi
