Praying can seem intimidating. In public. In private. What should you say? Does it make a difference?
“This is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” Matthew 6:9-13
Jesus not only encouraged us to pray, He told us how. Humbly. Acknowledging our listening Father. Acknowledging Him as Almighty, our Provider, Forgiver and Deliverer.
Your prayers are powerful, not because of the words you may or may not say, but because of the One who is listening and responding. And He invites us to listen and respond to Him as well.
You can trust Him. With everything. And you can speak to Him. Anytime. He listens. Every time. – Sandi
