You may not even realize how God’s heart is moved by some of the “little” things you do.
“Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply…Whatever you did for one of the least of these…you did for me.” Matthew 25:37-40
What an “aha” moment…when God says, “I saw what you did, my child, and it felt like you were doing it for me personally.” Can you even imagine God giving you an “atta boy” or “atta girl” and you being unaware of the “why?” Those beautiful moments when “holy” and “humanity” intersect.
How does that reframe your to-do list today? How does it impact how you will respond and react to those around you? Those you may not even know?
I think God is reminding us that we can love Him in more ways than we may realize. The simple, kind, loving ways that we respond to people mean more than we know. They just may move the heart of God and reveal His heart to other people. – Sandi
