Do you feel overwhelmed? Uncertain about the future? Exhausted and alone?
“My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death…” Matthew 26:38
Do you know whose words those are? Jesus. He was facing certain betrayal, suffering, and death. It felt overwhelming. What did he do? He prayed.
“My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:39
Jesus understands where you are and how you’re feeling today. He’s been there. And He is with you right now. Call out to Him. Ask Him to intervene. Ask Him to take away the pain. And then trust Him with the outcomes. Surrender to His loving plan and will. The road ahead may not be easy, but you can trust Him with it. He will be faithful. – Sandi
