“First, take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:5
It is so easy to identify someone else’s blind spot or weakness. And it’s tempting to judge them and consider ourselves “better,” when in reality, we’re blind to our own sin and struggles. I think the cure for “plank eye” is acknowledging our own need for a Savior. When we do, we’ll have more grace for everyone else that we “see” today.
