A friend texted me the other day with some great news….it was an answered prayerd and we were celebrating. I typed, “God is faithful.” And I was immediately challenged with this thought: would I have thought/felt that God was faithful if He had closed the door?
The truth is: God is faithful. Period.
“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it…But even if he doesn’t….we will not bow down to you.” Daniel 3:17-18
Faith that isn’t shaken by the heat. They praised God for who He was, not what He may or may not do. Their faith and worship wasn’t dependent on an outcome. I want that kind of faith as well. A faith that trusts in His plan and goodness, regardless of outcomes. A faith that knows God is faithful. Even if. – Sandi
