Pride. It is so sneaky. It works its way into our lives and plays havoc with every relationship we have. Which is why it breaks God’s heart.
“Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble… Humble yourselves…that He may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter 5:5-6
Pride and humility stem from the heart. God honors one. He opposes the other.
There is something better than being right and always winning the fight.
Humility. Being tender and kind with each other. Becoming a vessel of God’s grace. His heart speaking and working through our lives.
May we have tender and humble hearts…toward God and each other. It leads to more and more of God’s grace. His blessing. His healing in relationships. He will honor humility every time.
