Have you ever been impatient with God? You trust Him. But… you question His timing? If you can trust His plan and promise, you can trust His timing!
“When 70 years are completed…I will fulfill my gracious promise…For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:10-11
We can tend to gravitate to the “instapot” version of God’s promises. Focus on the plans, the hopes, and the future, and attach our own timelines to them. I get it. I’m guilty of it as well.
But what if God not only has good plans, a bright hope and future for you…but He also has a good sense of timing? What if His best is worth waiting for?
He does know. He does have plans. The best of the best. Full of hope and bright future. And, He is the only One who knows the when. It may be decades down the road. It may take an eternity to see it fully. Or you may get a glimpse today. But you can trust Him. And His timing. – Sandi
