I love the story of Jesus inviting all of the children to come close to Him. He wasn’t too busy. Too important. Too distracted. He invited them. And He still does.
“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters…” Isaiah 55:1
If you could see one image of Jesus in your mind today, may it be of Him inviting you to come into His presence. He sees you. He sees your deepest longings and desires. And He wants you to come close. He makes time and room for you. What a gift!
He not only wants to be with you, but He knows it will do your heart good. There is peace in His presence. There is comfort. And there is fulness of joy.
So, come. Freely. And experience what you long for the most. To be known and loved by the maker of your soul.
