There has to be a step of faith and obedience before the breakthrough. Have you noticed how many times that’s true in scripture? God doesn’t just instantly change a situation. He requires something: faith and action, before He moves.
“March around the city once….do this for 6 days. On the 7th day, march around the city seven times….” Joshua 6:3-5
God promised the victory. Why in the world did he require his people to march around for days before He brought the wall of Jericho down? He was ready day One. They weren’t. God knew this was about their faith, not about a wall. And He will lovingly do whatever it takes to build our faith and confidence in Him. Day after day of marching, praying, hoping. It led to victory. In more ways than one. The same is true for you. Stay faithful at what God has invited you to do. Keep praying and hoping. He is faithful.
