If you’re feeling distant from God, you’re not alone. If it’s been a while since you’ve talked to God or opened up your heart to Him, you’re not alone. I mean you literally are not alone.
“…They hid from the Lord God among the trees…
But the Lord God called to them, “Where are you?”

We all hide. From the beginning of time up until you and me…we hide from God. But God pursues.
We hide. God seeks. It’s a pattern we fall into often. But so does God.
Where is He when you’re hiding or drifting from Him? He’s close. He’s calling out. He won’t let go.
God loves you enough, even when you’re hiding, to pursue you.
When the voice of shame tells you to hide, listen for another voice that is also persistently calling out. It sounds like love, because it’s the voice of your Father. –Sandi
