There is tired. Then, there is weary. You may not be fully able to describe it, but you know when you’ve reached “weary.” If you are there today, this is for you:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest….You will find rest for your soul.” Matthew 11:28-29
There is so much hope in this verse. Did you notice it includes “you?” It is for everyone, including you. He is inviting you to leave the weariness and find rest. You can sleep and get over being tired on your own. But He is the only one who can offer rest for your soul. I pray that you’ll respond to His invitation today and find rest. – Sandi
