Jesus says that these two things are most important to Him and required for us:
- We MUST love God. 2. We MUST love each other.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. And Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39
It is easy to view loving God as something spiritual and loving people as something optional. But that isn’t the truth of scripture. Jesus commanded both. I pray that God increases our capacity to love today. May we love Him well, but not stop there. Love God. Love People. May that be our heart’s desire. – Sandi
