God has emotions too. His probably don’t change as quickly as mine do. Have you considered that God not only loves you, but that He is also moved by your pain? He isn’t immune or too far above us to share in our suffering.
“Jesus wept.” John 11:25
One of Jesus’ friends had died. Others were mourning. Scripture says that Jesus was “deeply moved and troubled,” and He cried. If your heart is breaking today, so is God’s. If it hurts too bad to even pray or the heartache is so heavy you can feel it, so does God. He feels for you in a very real way. Friend, you are not alone. God sees. He feels. And He is working on your behalf because He is faithful. – Sandi
