I forget things. Where did I put my keys? Did I lock the door? What was his name? And I wish I could forget other things. Past mistakes. Regrets. Sins.
“I am the One who blots out your transgressions…and remembers your sins no more.” Isaiah 43:25
God not only covers our sin with the blood of His Son, but then He chooses to put them out of His recall. God’s memory is perfect. But so is His love and forgiveness for us. So, He chooses to not think about our past mistakes. In His mind, we are completely forgiven and seen as clean. The next time your many past sins try to creep back into your mind or heart, remind them of the One who remembers no more. – Sandi
