I am both frustrated and comforted by this truth:
“My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
We will never be able to understand the mind of God. That means we will walk through life a little puzzled and perplexed. But even though we can’t figure Him out, we can trust Him. His ways are higher. He is God. All-knowing. Always good. That may not bring understanding. But it brings me comfort. Don’t limit God to your understanding. Trust that He knows more. And is doing more than we can fathom. That really is a good thing. – Sandi
