How would you describe yourself on your “worst” days? We all have moments or seasons where we’re just not that lovable. We’re selfish, unkind, prideful….I could go on and on! What do you picture God’s response is to us on those days?
“God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
God died for our worsts. He didn’t die because we’re deserving or lovable or because we do good things sometimes. He died because our sin separates us from a Holy God. So, He made a way. A costly way that required a perfect Jesus to suffer and die for our sin. God saw us at our worst. And loved us with His best. He still sees us at our worst and loves us. What a gift!
