If I could pick any one time in history to “peak” into, it would be when Jesus rose from the dead and walked around. We know the story, but can your mind grasp how unbelievable that was? Seeing the dead come to life again. That is what Jesus did for us. And that is our story as well.
“God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in sin…” Ephesians 2:4-5
Can your mind grasp how unbelievable that is? You aren’t who you used to be. Because of God’s mercy and Jesus’ sacrifice, we get a new life. Forgiven. Right with God. Set free. Those around us get a glimpse into the work God is still doing today. He is still chasing sinners and breathing new life into them. Into us. Thank you, Jesus, for new life!
