While in high school, I was on the speech team. I loved performing, competing and winning! (I had my share of losses too!) The trophies meant a lot to me. For a time. I honestly don’t even know where they are today.

I’ve noticed, in my life, that I can be a “chaser.” I like to achieve and accomplish. I’m a doer. If I’m not careful, my heart can find itself in a constant state of discontentment. This verse brings me back. He is so much more than enough. And it isn’t simply what He does for us that brings contentment to our souls. It is who He is. There is no greater award or reward than a relationship with Jesus. He is our very great reward. – Sandi
