A couple of weeks ago, I had a disagreement with one of my sons. We were both calm and honoring in our discussion, but we simply landed in different places. Then my son said, “Mom, you know that this won’t come between us because I value our relationship and unity more than any issue.”
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4: 2-3
I saw the beauty and truth of this verse in action. I saw disagreement take its proper place…beneath the bond of love and unity. May we be peacemakers today, especially when we disagree. It is possible. – Sandi
