Why, God? If you’ve ever asked that question, you’re in good company. What do you do when you can’t see or understand the work of God? You faithfully follow anyway. Because He always has a plan.
Gideon’s army was preparing for battle (Judges 7). God creatively whittled down the army from over 22,000 to 300. Then, God sent them into battle, confused the enemy to the point that they turned on each other and Gideon’s small but faithful army was victorious. Gideon had to have a few questions when God shrank his army. But he trusted anyway. And learned such a valuable lesson: God is always working for our good AND for His glory. – Sandi
